Finding Joyous Thoughts

Good morning !!!

Every morning I wake to start my day with positive thoughts and leave behind any uncomfortable thoughts that there may have been a day before.

This morning when I woke, I looked for the beautiful sky through my large window. Seeing the captivating colours I ran down with my speedy toes down the the stairs and out in the yard, to capture. There was stillness and purity that I felt as I gazed.

As I watched, I admired the different tones of pink, yellow, orange, blue in the sky. Admired the rising sun , the power it shows. The  positive energy was felt that was being radiated. The sunshine that brings hope for a brighter day. A day that is fulfilling and meaningful.

Soon I will be leaving to the mountains for hike and paint that has been organized. I want the moments to be positive without the negative thoughts while getting close to nature. Which will bring lot of peace within 😊.

Essence of every bit!

The little moments in your life, may be like the small yummy cookie that you see on your kitchen counter unexpectedly. And you have to enjoy it rather tossing it out. The bits of moments form the bigger picture of your day or life.

We all get tired physically or mentally at some point of life. Especially when we feel the outer forces are empowering you. We cannot control the world around, but we can control our actions.

We have to turn the tables and only we can be responsible for it. Enjoy the little moments that may come in pieces along your way.

                                   Don’t bring yourself down.

Admire the pure existence of these moments that reveal the true beauty of your heart you carry.

Six tips to keep yourself motivated to exercise and stay active

We often get derailed to stay active or exercise. It can be due to various situations in our lives like our busy schedules or relationships or finances and we tend to get demoralized. It becomes hard for us to push and feel low.

But at the end of the day we have to remind how important it is to stay active.

In fact being active brings gratification, we fell energized, we keep ourselves fit and the best part we feel good about ourselves that keeps ourselves in good spirits.

                                     We can keep ourselves motivated by :

                       1. Remember someone you love. Bring him or her to be your inspiration. Remember the smile that he or she brings for you.

2. Remind yourself how good you will feel when you will fit into a dress you have wanted to wear.

                        3. You can plan your day or thoughts even while doing simple exercises like running or treadmill. I have done it many times.

4. Challenge yourself and share it with your friends and family. You may set up a goal and mark it down.

                       5. Don’t be shy to take pictures while you exercise or stay active. 

6. Share your experiences of being active with your friends/colleagues/family

Keep burning your sunshine

Good morning!

When the sunshine tries to fade you keep pushing yourself to awaken it and bring it to full galore.

That being said you have to make efforts or else it will be eventually be where you won’t get its sight. How far we can keep pushing ? Till we come to being hopeful of our presence and see ourselves in our best selves.

Keep reminding the sunshine in our lives has not to fade. Sunshine here means something in any form that makes you happy and keep you energized.

Reflections of the day

For most of the weekdays as usual, today I juggled doing different tasks. I started my day with a warm lemon drink and now ending my day beside the lamp on my nightstand by the bed. 

I believe how much ever load of work we do, by the end of the day,  we get peace and strength from our positive attitudes. We build an inner calm and find light for our soul. 

Reflection of day helps one to:

Learn from the mistakes if any

-Rejoice the success of a task

-Be prepared for another day

As I reflect, there is essence of gratitude and love that is subscribed in my heart.

I look for another day with hope and smile !!!

Nine Dos To Draw Motivation !

  • You draw motivation by admiring every simple thing, that you think brings smile.
  • You don’t build barriers between your mind and a motivator.
  • You welcome tough things with open arms.
  • You believe in being positive.
  • You create challenges for yourself to grow.
  • You see beauty in the things that may seem rotten from outside.
  • You are ready to be flexible for a change, for the good.
  • You show curiosity of mind and are a learner.
  • You show enthusiasm that helps you to make a path for your growth.       

Here it gives me a chance to share a recent incidence. One morning when I woke up, I reminded myself how I had not worked out and I seemed uncomfortable with myself. As I looked through my big window I saw a shrub far off that seemed dark in colour. I had never noticed those shrubs before. At the same time the size of flowers interested me, I could see them even from a very far distance. I immediately made up my mind to go for a run that would give me a chance to look at the shrub  that appeared interesting to me from far. That dark shrub was a motivation for me that day to push myself. I not only enjoyed myself going for a run but also found the shrub had some beautiful flowers at a closer look.

It was truly amazing how my curiosity for that shrub in disguise was my motivation for that day 😊

Writing little letters to myself

When I am driving I am thinking,

When I am by side of nature I am thinking,

When I am exercising I am thinking,

These little letters are being written to myself in mind. I read them to be aware of myself and my surroundings. The little letters are stacked in my mind and take the shape of my emotions. They burn the energy out of me that make me love them and keep them close to my heart.

The little letters are imprinted in colours that are both glorious and faded. They are hard to get rid off especially when they form a great friend. No matter what the ink they are written in, the little letters form a pack of smiles, love, tears, forgiveness.

Healing Powers of Nature

We all know nature is beautiful. At some point of our life nature has stimulated an excitement within us either when we went for a walk or at the beach where the waves chanted; the snow clad gigantic mountains or the chirping birds perched on the tall trees; the elegant waterfalls; the vast sky with its changing colors; the shinning bright moon dancing with the twinkling stars or the smiling flowers in the flowerbeds.

Nature has its healing powers that brightens our senses even though it could be momentary when we are in its lap. As we get closer to it more often its reflections cast a greater shadow in our lives. Nature is pure that brings the wellness powers with in us.

            Over the time I have learned the gifts of nature  

When we are in lap of nature, we take a break from our busy lives that rejuvenates our minds.

We feel relaxed and calm that gives a break from our mechanical routines. At that moment we only want to enjoy the beauty that the nature is offering us.

Nature helps to relive the pain that may have been caused by a friend, co worker or a family member. 

We develop a positive attitude when we start to spend more time with nature.

Nature renders us happiness as we can feel good about ourselves. We realize our spirit uplifted with peace devoid of anxiety.

It gives us the opportunity to appreciate the joys around you, even in little forms like the opening flower bud or the crashing waves by the rocks.  


I get close to nature by going for walks with my family, sitting close to the pond surrounded by trees, driving in the country side, running outdoors, going for a hike, vacation by the ocean, driving to the mountains, gardening or keeping flowers in vases.

No wonder why I enjoy nature and want to spend more time in its lap !!!
